Affair of the Heart - Okie Bead-okie

If you are in Tulsa and looking for a great craft show to get you in that Christmas mode, visit Okie Bead-okie at Affair of the Heart Tulsa! The show runs Friday, Saturday & Sunday and is in the QuikTrip Center - Expo Square (4145 E. 21st Street-between Harvard & Yale).

Okie Bead-okie is Audria Bobbitt! Married for 12 years and the mother of the two, she wanted to stay home with the girls and make a little extra money. "After making some jewelry for myself and thinking about others who may enjoy it...my husband encouraged me to start a jewelry business. I thought about it for a couple of weeks and here I am!"

Audria designs and creates various styles of jewerly. Inspiration comes from everything, everywhere, and everyone. "My favorite jewelry to make is custom orders, where I can look at an outfit and design something fun to go with it. I look at the customer's personality, as well as how much money they want to spend, when designing a piece of jewelry."

Lulu's is in the cute plaza at 81st & Sheridan (8005 S. Sheridan Rd, Tulsa). They offer delicious pastries, cookies to die for and a wonderful lunch menu! Everything is from scratch, the entire shop is peanut free. She makes her vendors certify that all the ingredients she uses in the handmade goods and the ready for sale items she stocks are from peanut-free facilities.
